PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS SISTEM INFORMASI PADA BINTANG WISATA PURWOKERTO TOUR AND TRAVEL

The application of computer-based information system becomes an absolute necessity and can provide a competitive advantage so that it gets high priority. Companies that need to implement IT in supporting their business processes are tourism service bureaus. One of the tourism service bureau that needs to implement IT is Bintang Wisata Purwokerto Tour And Travel Bintang Wisata Tour And Travel is located on Gerilya barat 757, karangpucung East Purwokerto Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The purpose of this research is to produce strategic planning of information systems that are in line with the company’s business strategy that can provide competitive advantage in business competition. The method used in planning is the method from Ward and Peppard with the tools used are SWOT, Value Chain, Porter’s Five Competitive Forces, and McFarlan Strategic Grid. This research produces proposals in the form of information system portfolios, websites and implemtation plants.
