Abstract
Indonesia is a country with historical heritage that is recognized by the world, one of which is a temple, a temple which is a sacred place of worship of gods, and is considered a replica of Mount Mahameru in India which symbolizes the universe. . In this day and age students must be introduced by developing technologies, such as laptops / PCs and mobile phones, because these two devices display a lot of entertainment that spoil students through visual displays. Therefore, researchers took the initiative to design a learning application about insect recognition that displays 3D objects based on Virtual Reality Learning Media that can be run on smartphones with the Android operating system. To develop the system in this study using the Luther - Sutopo system development technique in Binanto (2010) which consists of six stages, namely concept, design, material collenting, assembly, testing and distribution.
