Abstract
One form of multimedia application that is developing is Virtual Reality, which is a form of application in the form of Virtual Tour. Virtual Tour is a simulation of a real location, generally consisting of video or a collection of photos (real) and can also be in the form of full 3d animation with website, desktop or mobile output. The purpose of this research is to make campus introduction media freely accessible to prospective students to get visual information from 360o perspective of Amikom Purwokerto University. Data and information collection methods used are interview, observation, literature study, documentation and questionnaire. While the system development method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) with the Luther-Sutopo version. This virtual tour has been tested by Alpha Test and Beta Ttest. Alpha Test where the test is done by the makers themselves, this test includes checking the function of the button and checking photo hotspots. While testing the beta test through a questionnaire by 30 people obtained a presentation of 82.13% using a Likert scale calculation and classified as very good criteria so it was concluded that the Virtual Tour 360o of Amikom University in Purwokerto was in accordance with the needs. This research resulted in 360o Virtual Tour of Amikom Purwokerto University which can be accessed on the official website of Amikom Purwokerto University by link http://www.amikompurwokerto.ac.id.
