PROTOTYPE SISTEM INFORMASI POINT OF SALE BERBASIS ANDROID (Studi Kasus: UMKM Sepatu Purwokerto)

The development of information technology and information systems can support a company's business processes. In the business processes experienced by the UMKM Sepatu Purwokerto and its partners, there are problems that often occur such as calculation errors. This can be detrimental to both parties, because there is no use of existing technology and information systems. Based on these problems, it is necessary to create a point of sale application using Android-based smartphone technology that can facilitate distributors, shop owners, and employees in doing their work. The system development method used in this study is the waterfall method and data collection is done by literature study, interviews, and observations on the research object. Based on the results of data collection, a system design, database design and interface design were made. From the design the application is then made using Android Studio tools. After the application is made, the application is tested using the black box testing method. The results of tests that have been carried out are as expected by users of point of sale applications because they have been adjusted to the results of data collection.
