Abstract
Library is a room or part of a building that is used to store books that are stored according to a certain arrangement that is used by readers, not for sale. (II & Libraries, 2007). SMK NEGERI 1 Kawunganten, is an important tool in supporting the implementation and achievement of school goals and educational goals. Therefore, the library of SMK NEGERI 1 Kawunganten makes every effort to be able to display the characteristics and advantages of other school libraries. However, it has not implemented IS and IT in its business processes and does not yet have an information system strategic planning portfolio. So in view it is necessary to create a strategic information system, in order to provide an advantage in business competition.
