Abstract
After the outbreak of COVID-19 in Indonesia, the learning process between educators and students was shifted through online learning. The implementation of online learning causes the practical learning process to be less effective, one of which is practical learning about IoT (Internet of Things). It is often difficult for students to understand which materials are used and also to distinguish which ones should be designed first regarding IoT tools. For this reason, it is necessary to have a learning media that can help students understand the function and design of IoT tools. The purpose of making a learning media in the form of animated videos is as a tool for students to understand which materials are used and also designed in advance in IoT tools. The method used in designing this learning animation video is the method according to M.Suyanto (2004) which consists of three stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. The result of this research is that a learning animation video about IoT tools has been successfully made.
