PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS SISTEM INFORMASI PADA PONDOK PESANTREN AL-HIDAYAH KARANGSUCI PURWOKERTO MENGGUNAKAN METODE WARD AND PEPPARD

Pondok Pesantren Al-Hidayah Karangsuci Purwokerto is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Purwokerto located in Banyumas Regency.As one of the fast growing educational institutions,Al-Hidayah Islamic boarding school has not implemented IS and IT optimally in its business processes and does not yet have a planning portfolio. Strategic information systems. So it is necessary to make a strategic information system, to support a superior organization according to its vision and mission Strategic planning of information system (IS) and information technology (IT) is needed to prepare organization to plan the use of technology and systems information for the organization.The form of strategic planning for information system that will be discussed in this study uses the Ward and Peppard method and by using the tools of the PEST,SWOT, Value chain, and Five Force Model analysis methods, the McFarlan Strategis Grid analysis method. The results of this analysis define strategis planning. Islamic boarding schools do not have a special information system to handle boarding school management, boarding school network infrastrukture is inadequate, human resources do not have competent IT experts,do not have publications and institutions that specifically handle IT.
