Abstract
Indonesia is a pluralistic country that is rich in culture and tradition. Cultural heritage in the form of traditional musical instruments, one of which is a Rebana musical instrument. Tambourine or sometimes also called "flying" is a kind of round and flat drum. This instrument is framed by forming a circle of wood that is grinded, one side covered with goat skin as a part that is played by being patted. Moreover, a book that discusses gamelan is rare and difficult to obtain. Most books only contain writing that is less interesting to study. This media aims to produce applications to introduce Tambourine tools. This research was conducted using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method and as a learning medium in recognizing Tambourines in 3D based on Augmented Reality on Android mobile devices, it is hoped that this application can increase students' interest in learning and learning Rebana musical instruments.
