PERANCANGAN DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN PADA INFRASTUKTUR JARINGAN KOMPUTER (Studi Kasus: Universitas Amikom Purwokerto)

Disaster or disturbance is an event or event that disturbs and causes small or large losses, both in natural and non-natural factors, intentional or inadvertent factors of humans. Disasters or disruptions that occur in computer network infrastructure are unavoidable and predictable. Today, many companies and organizations use computer network infrastructure to improve services and operations. Disaster Recovery Plan is a procedure in dealing with an emergency that can endanger the organization. The importance of this disaster recovery plan is inseparable from the consequences of the disaster itself. Therefore, it is necessary to design a disaster recovery plan on computer network infrastructure at Amikom University, Purwokerto. The problems that often arise in Amikom Purwokerto University computer labs are network disruption from ISPs, network looping, device damage and IP Conflict. The purpose of this research is to help overcome the disturbances that may occur on computer networks at the University of Amikom Purwokerto. The method used is a qualitative method. the final result of this study is in the form of a disaster recovery plan document that contains procedures and actions to recover computer network infrastructure from disasters or disruptions that occur.
