Abstract
Various menus are available with a choice of names that are quite foreign, including food menus offered by culinary establishments or cafes. Information about the food menu is increasingly difficult for visitors to understand, so the owner or employee must explain the menu in question. With the rapid development of technology, culinary businesses must also be able to take advantage of developing technologies, such as laptops / PCs and mobile phones, because these two tools are already equipped with visual displays. Therefore, the researchers took the initiative to design an application to visualize the food menu that displays Live Shoot objects. Augmented Reality based information media combined with Quick Response Code and can be run on smartphones with the Android operating sistem. The sistem development method used in this research is the Multimedia Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages, namely concept, design, material collenting, assembly, testing and distribution. The results of this study are in the form of application as an information menu for cafe menus based on augmented reality. In addition, the final results of testing respondents in this study showed that "Application Level Up AR" has a value of an average of 94.28% of the 120 respondents, so it is included in the category of very much agree, because with the value of these numbers it can be interpreted as a level up application This AR is able to provide information and get information both to employees and visitors.
