Abstract

Knowledge Management is defined as a process that can help companies find, select, disseminate and move important information. which is usually used in activities such as problem solving, for learning, strategic planning, and decision making. Many organizations feel that they have implemented the KMS but have not significantly affected the achievement of the objectives of the KMS itself. The problem at COR Hotel is that there are no containers or media for employees to share an existing knowledge within the organization. So far in Cor Hotel Purwokerto still use and utilize social media whatsapp or email as a forum for knowledge sharing in implementing knowledge management Measurement of readiness level is the first step in knowing the readiness of organizations in implementing a knowledge management system. The purpose of this study is to get a picture of the readiness of COR Hotel Purwokerto in implementing the knowledge management system and provide suggestions and input for COR Hotel Purwokerto regarding the readiness to implement a knowledge management system. Measurements are made by classifying some critical success factor knowledge management (KMCSF) into aspects of knowedge management. The method used to measure the level of KMS implementation readiness is to map KMCSF with KM infrastructure. The results of data analysis can be concluded that KM readiness has reached 65.7% or is at level 4, which means COR Hotel Purwokerto gets the Receptive title. This shows that COR Hotel Purwokerto is ready and established to implement a knowledge management system.
