Folklore is part of cultural and historical richness owned by the Indonesian nation. In ancient times folklore was spoken from one generation to the next, it has become a tradition of our ancestors. But unfortunately, as the times progress, oral tradition speakers tend to decrease, especially in urban communities. It is feared someday a lot of folklore is extinct and not known again by future generations. The purpose of this research is to create a trailer 3D animated films folklore as a medium of introduction of the origin of Banjarnegara district and preserve culture especially folklore. System development method used is method according to M.suyanto. This research begins with a coherent stage such as pre-production, production and post-production. The result of a video trailer folklore origin banjarnegara use 3D animation.
