Abstract
Based on the policy of the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, Learning English is local content, so the need for habituation for students to use English. English language learning starts from learning vocabulary that is often used in everyday life, eg in relation to members of the body, animals, objects around and others. However, students tend to be difficult to improvevocabulary (kosakata) English because it is difficult to memorize and rarely used in everyday life. Another problem that arises is that students learning English is difficult to follow so that they tend to be cool to play.
Edutainment-based learning media utilization is considered very relevant to be one of the solutions of the problem. Realization of learning vocabulary in English language materials can be contained in one part of the media in the form of edutainment games. By using MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle)in method development, this game generatesnuanced entertaining educational media. Matter game contains vocabulary (vocabulary) objects around the house and the challenge of the timer, lives and lock system level.
