Abstract

This research was conducted because the author wanted to make a video sample of the dangers of smartphones. The dangers or negative impacts of smartphones at an early age are some examples of reduced interest in learning in children and downloading pornographic content. The research was conducted at Mengangkang 2 elementary school Village Somakaton Kec. Somagede Banyumas, the results of data / respondents obtained from questionnaires that have been distributed amounted to 23 where 15 children already have their own gadgets, 20 others also often play games and claim to have been allowed by their parents. The purpose of this study is to explain the dangers arising from the use of gadgets / smartphones at an early age, especially in Mengangkang 2 elementary school by using data collection methods such as interviews, questionnaires, observations and literature studies. From the research that has been done, it produces a 2D animated film titled "Me and My Red Values" which is used as socialization media in the elementary school.
