PERANCANGAN AUGMENTED REALITY SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI TAMAN MAKAM PAHLAWAN NASIONAL “TANJUNG NIRWANA” PURWOKERTO

The Heroes Cemetery in addition to being the place where the heroes are buried also functions as a form of respect and appreciation for the heroes, as a means of preserving heroes' values, and as an object of historical tourism studies. Banyumas Regency has Tanjung Nirwana Purwokerto National Heroes Cemetery Park which is managed by the Dinsospermasdes of Banyumas Regency. However, in terms of the delivery of information is still constrained that is not yet having the information media so that the community, especially the younger generation, are less aware of the services at TMPN Tanjung Nirwana Purwokerto. Therefore, brochures need to be made as TMPN information media. Furthermore, so that the brochure attracts more readers, it is necessary to apply Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Augmented Reality is an attempt to merge the real world into the virtual world through computers so that the boundary between the two is very thin. The AR made in this study is an AR Marker type in which the TMPN brochure is a marker. The AR TMPN application can be accessed through mobile phones with the Android operating system. The research method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The results of the study are in the form of Augmented Reality applications that have passed alpha test and beta test. In the alpha test, the resulting application can run smoothly without errors or bugs. In the beta test on 10 respondents generated 94% stated the application is very feasible to use and apply to agencies
