Abstract
Multimedia is used in many fields, one of which is promotion. Promotion is one of the best strategies for delivering communication to consumers. The Surfskate is one of the growing shopping places in Purwokerto, but sales at Surfskate are not stable every month due to several factors that affect product sales, namely the first promotion is less effective because it still uses posts from brands (reposts). The second factor is increasingly fierce market competition. Because of the several factors above, the author took the initiative to create a new, more innovative promotion method in expanding marketing. The author decided to create a promotional video for Surfskate Purwokerto Shop using Motion Graphic Concepts, which can be used as a means of promotional media on Surfskate to assist shop owners in introducing their products. Using the multimedia development life cycle (MDLC) system development method and questionnaire as a testing method, the examiner managed to get an average formula index of 88.3%, with the category strongly agreeing, which means that this promotional medium can already be used as a promotional medium by Sufskate.
