Abstract
Furniture HPL is one of the home furniture craftsman businesses such as cabinets, tables, sofas, kitchen tables and so on. From the information that the author obtained from Mr. Triono as a business owner after conducting a brief interview, it has been almost 3 years of operation, business income has decreased in the last 1 year. This study aims to implement motion graphic techniques in a promotional video media as a media to support the promotion of Furniture HPL’s products. The limitation of this research is only to introduce and explain the advantages of Furniture HPL’s products. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development method which consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The video project only uses audio, images, and text media by implementing motion graphic techniques with a video duration of approximately 5 minutes. The data collection method used is observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. This promotional video was made using Adobe After Effects software, and Sony Vegas Pro. The final result that is expected from this research is to be able to apply motion graphic techniques to the promotional video of Furniture HPL to promote the advantages of Furniture HPL’s products.
