Abstract
Ornamental plants are cultivated plants that have high aesthetic value and economic value. Behind that, some people often complain about the process of choosing the type of ornamental plants they want, the size of the suitable plants, not to mention if they have to repeatedly replace ornamental plants that they feel don't fit in the arrangement. Based on a survey, 19 out of 28 people are ornamental plant enthusiasts, and 28 out of 28 people think there is a need for innovation in garden planning using ornamental plants. Therefore, this study aims to create a simulation application of ornamental plants in potted categories with Markerless Augmented Reality technology for people who like ornamental plants. Markerless AR allows the merging of the real world and the virtual world to be simulated directly and feels real without having to use a marker. The method used is MDLC. The test results were carried out using black-box testing, angle and distance accuracy, and user satisfaction using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to 19 respondents who liked ornamental plants with an average value of 83.69 respondents. It can be concluded that the GARDEN application has good quality with good features and attractive visuals, and can be accepted and used by users.
