PENGELOLAAN DAN PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM UNTUK MENDUKUNG AKTIVITAS PEMERINTAH DESA CINGEBUL

Social media is something that leads to the use of technology online and can be used by the public to interact. Instagram social media is an application that facilitates its users to share photos, videos, provide comments, send messages and can caption photos or videos that are shared. In this thesis, the researcher presents a discussion on the management and use of social media to support the activities of the Cingebul Village government in conveying information. Because in its activities the Cingebul Village government still does not use Instagram. Various activities that have been carried out have not been routinely uploaded on Instagram so that village exposure and promotion have not been able to reach a wider audience. In this study, the authors use qualitative and descriptive methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of photos, videos, and writings from observable objects. Descriptive method, the researcher analyzes the data collected in the form of words and pictures, not numbers. The data can come from interviews, photos, and documents. From the results of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: In utilizing social media Instagram in Cingebul village at the stage of disseminating content, the researcher used several Instagram features, namely, Instagram feeds, Instagram stories. The content that is shared is not only photos but videos accompanied by captions as image descriptions. The results of the management of Instagram social media in Cingebul village are quite influential on the community. This can be seen from the responses of followers or residents who came directly to the Cingebul Village Hall Office to ask about information shared through Instagram content.
