Abstract

The Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) expertise competency is part of the Automotive Engineering expertise program in the field of Technology and Engineering. The subject of light vehicle engineering, specifically on the flow of vehicles, is one of the subjects that is difficult for students of SMK ARYASATYA TEKNOLOGI Patrikraja to understand. Appropriate learning media will produce the competencies expected by students. Moreover, with the development of information and communication technology, learning media has developed. One of them uses 2-Dimensional animation learning media. The purpose of this research is to improve students' understanding of learning at SMK ARYASATYA TEKNOLOGI Patikraja using Motion graphic Techniques in the subject of electrical currents. The results of the research that has been carried out are (1) With the presence of 2D animated videos, the teacher can present information about Light Vehicle Engineering on electric current to students (2) The application of 2- Dimensional Motion graphic Techniques is very appropriate in designing this application because this method will be completed with simulations, tutorials related to information about electrical currents so that teachers can easily convey information about light vehicle automatic machines on electrical currents to students.
