APLIKASI E-SURAT PENGELOLAAN SURAT MASUK PADA DINAS PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DAN DESA KABUPATEN CILACAP

Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Cilacap is one of the regional-owned service institutions in Cilacap. The correspondence process in the service is done quite well, but there are still some that have not been implemented or carried out in accordance with theory or provisions, causing obstacles in the management of the incoming letter, the General and Personnel Sub-Section in the procedure for handling incoming mail there are still problems namely lack of discipline in scheduling incoming letters, resulting in not recording the date the letter was received or if the letter is needed again it is difficult to find. In handling incoming letters, if the letter as an archive is lost, it does not know which fields have received the letter and also what date the letter arrived at the field or section that received the disposition and whether it has been followed up or continued. The purpose of this research is to create a system or application that can provide convenience regarding the management of incoming mail so that it is monitored properly and is easy to search if needed at any time. This system was developed using the Waterfall development method and tested using the blackbox testing method. This system is based on a website with a MySQL database and PHP 7.0 as a programming language. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, this system has succeeded in helping the process of managing incoming mail, so that the management of incoming mail can be better monitored.
