Abstract
The learning process running at MI Ma 'arif NU kutawis still using the usual method of the exercise book and explaining on the board, so that most students are saturated with the learning of teaching and make class III students find it difficult to learn how to calculate and less understand the material. It is also due to the class III that is generally still very happy to play. As a result, there are some third graders who have not graduated from KKM. So to address the problem created by the study media, the "Desktop-based Tank Escape mathematics education game" was offered by the author. The method used is Ten Sheet Design Document". The concept of gaming application as a learning medium using the 2d top down shooter platformer as a form of its learning media where on any enemy to be defeated, the player will be given the question of multiplication, division, and calculating the area and volume as a prerequisite to continuing the game to the end. Based on the likert scale of the questionnaires calculation, it is the result that 56% tank escape's educational game falls under the category of strongly agreeing to be a student learning medium.
