Abstract
Body temperature is one of the vital signs as an indication of the activity of several organs. In a health service, this vital sign is used to monitor and help diagnose a patient's condition. One of them is to diagnose the covid-19 virus disease symptoms. To measure body temperature, during the Covid-19 virus pandemic, researchers made observations using an infrared thermometer gun. However, this tool still has shortcomings with how it works which is limited by its measuring distance. This tool will function to detect the temperature of the human body when brought closer to the forehead at a distance of approximately 12 cm. This has not been effective because during this pandemic the government in every country has appealed to carry out physical distancing with a minimum distance of 1 meter to avoid covid-19 transmission. The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype doorstop to detect human body temperature to make it easier for mosque takmirs to detect body temperature non-contact and to help improve health protocols at the Jami'al Mukhlisin and Baetus solihin mosques in Beluk village, Belik district, Pemalang district. The data collection method used in this research is literature method, observation method and interview method. The results of tests carried out using black box type testing of all component devices go as expected. The results of this study produce a prototype of arduino-based body temperature detection doorstop in humans by means of the work used is an ultrasonic sensor and an infrared temperature sensor will detect the temperature of the human body then display it on the LED screen then the servo motor will open the latch if the body temperature is less than 37, 5ºC and will remain closed if the temperature reads above or equal to 37.5ºC.
