SISTEM INFORMASI PENGELOLAAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI (Studi Kasus: SMK Ma’arif 1 Kroya)

In preparing students to be ready to work and be ready to enter the industrial environment, industrial work practices or can be called prakerin is held, which is one of the curricula used to fulfill one of the functions of vocational high schools in preparing students to be ready to work and ready to enter industrial environment. SMK Ma'arif 1 Kroya is one of the vocational high schools in Kroya District that has been accredited A. In the implementation of industrial work practices at the SMK Ma'arif 1 Kroya starting from submission, recording of student daily journals, guidance, and assessment is still managed manually and not yet computerized. With this kind of management, prakerin activities will be more at risk of error. This is also coupled with increasing data every time, so the process of finding data and management will be difficult. Therefore, we need an information system that has a database so that it can expedite the filing of prakerin activities. In this research, the system development method used is the waterfall and the system design method uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). This information system was built using the PHP programming language with MySql Database Management System software. The results of this study are the prakerin management information system with 3 users namely administrators, students as prakerin participants, and supervisors.
