Abstract
Jatilawang District is one of the sub-districts that has implemented information technology for businesses and businesses such as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that utilize social media information technology as a marketing tool that has an impact on expanding marketing networks, increasing revenue, and increasing interaction with consumers, but in the acceptance of social media information technology there are still many MSME actors in Jatilawang sub-district who have not used social media as marketing media, therefore there is a need to analyze the readiness of receiving information technology with social media as a marketing tool. with the benefits and influence of social media on MSMEs in Jatilawang sub-district as marketing media. The method used in this study is a quantitative method and Technology Readliness Index (TRI) model. The results of this study indicate that the use and use of social media as marketing media can increase competitiveness in terms of sales which have increased. But there are still many SMEs who have not used and utilized social media as an online marketing medium.
