APLIKASI BURSA KERJA KHUSUS SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI LOWONGAN KERJA DAN PENDAFTARAN BERBASIS MOBILE (Studi Kasus: SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto)

The Special Occupation Exchange (BKK) is an institution established in the state and private Vocational High Schools (SMK), as an implementing unit that provides services and job vacancy information. In SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto, the distribution of job information from special job fairs is still not centralized. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the number of unemployed people in Indonesia as of August 2018 reaching 7 million unemployed people and the most were graduates of Vocational High School (SMK). This fact must be balanced with improving the quality of SMK. One of them is providing information about the world of work for students. Therefore the author discussed the making of the BKK application as a mobile-based job information media, so that job information can be centralized in one system. Application built using Android Studio. The method used in this research was SDLC Waterfall Model methodology. Each step of the research was carried out sequentially, starting from the analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. This research has succeeded in building applications that can facilitate BKK and alumni in terms of disseminating information on job vacancies and registration, because job vacancies can be centralized. The results of acceptance testing showed that the application of BKK SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto was appropriate to be used to provide information on job vacancies and registration with a percentage value of 82.95% with good criteria from 40 respondents who submitted the questionnaire.
