PENERAPAN FITUR LOCATION BASED SERVICES (LBS) PADA PERANCANGAN APLIKASI ANDROID PERAWATAN MANDIRI IBU NIFAS

Android is an operating system whose development is very fast, and currently Android is synonymous with smartphones. Android can be used as a medium for disseminating information about the world of health such as maternal health counseling after childbirth (postpartum period). The puerperium is a critical period that is very important for newborns and mothers. For this reason, knowledge about health care during this period is needed by postpartum mothers to avoid the risk of morbidity and death. In addition to the mother's knowledge in independent and infant care, access to health services is also important in helping to care for mother and baby when sick or when something happens that requires medical personnel to handle. Therefore, in this study an android-based puerperal care application was built with the Location-Based Services (LBS) feature. This application was developed with the waterfall model. The results of this study are applications that contain information about how to care for themselves and babies in postpartum mothers and also features a map to help users obtain information about health services around. The system worked well and accordingly after passing black box testing.
