PERANCANGAN WEB PROFILE PADA SMA DIPONEGORO SUMPIUH

The development of information technology and a growing communication that gives birth to a new media, which is a website that can be utilized in every area of life, both personally and institution. While the midst of rapid development of education, information is a very important part of the educational component. Until now, SMA Diponegoro Sumpiuh does not have a media-based information website. The process of delivering information and promotion is still using conventional media. Therefore, it is required a media-based information website as a means of delivering information and promotion for SMA Diponegoro Sumpiuh. The purpose of this research is to build a media delivery information and promotion-based website that contains about, profile, history, vision-mission, school programs, location, facilities and infrastructure, educators and news about SMA Diponegoro Sumpiuh. This Website was built using a Laravel framework with a PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The software development method used is the waterfall. The result of this research is a website that is expected to provide ease for the school environment as well as the general public in accessing information about SMA Diponegoro Sumpiuh, and can also be used as a media delivery information and promotion is more effective and efficient that can be accessed anywhere and anytime online.
