SISTEM PAKAR DIAGNOSIS AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER PADA ANAK MENGGUNAKAN CHAT DAN CERTAINTY FACTOR BERBASIS ANDROID

Autism Spectrum Disorder (Autism) is a disorder of the development of complex and varied brain functions (spectrum). Disturbed developments include communication, social interaction, typical repetitive behavior, problems in emotions, and sensory disturbance. The disorder makes children unable to form social relations or normal communication, consequently the child is isolated from other humans. To find out children with autism or not using the standards carried out by a psychologist. CHAT (Checklist of Autism in Toddlers) in the early 1990s was developed to see whether Autism can be detected in children aged 18 months and has been used for screening of 16,000 toddler. Certainty Factor can be used in the diagnosis of autism in children. Certainty Factor Method is a method to prove whether a fact is certain or uncertain. With this basis, we need an expert system that can help parents to diagnose autism in their children. The expert system was built using Android-based CHAT and Certainty factors to determine the diagnosis results based on the symptoms shown and how to treat them initially. Based on the tests carried out, this expert system is valid with an accuracy rate of 94% out of 52 respondens in providing diagnosis results that match those of the expert. Besides that the system is running well, there is no error or failure when the system is running.
