Abstract
The purpose of this study is to introduce the types of foreign currency for elementary school children using the game media on smartphones. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, literature study, interviews.This system was built using the Multimedia Development Live Cycle (MDLC) system development method. Multimedia development methodology consists of six stages, namely concept (conception), design (design), material collecting (collection of material), assembly (manufacture), testing (testing), and distribution (distribution). An Android-Based Foreign Currency Recognition Game is built using Unity 3D programming and C # Programming Language. The results of this study are successful in introducing foreign currencies to elementary school children in knowing types of foreign currencies and making media more interactive in recognizing types of foreign currencies using game media.
