Abstract
Latin cricket (Gryllidae) is a type of insect that has a unique sound and is active at night. Cricket is one type of insect that is interesting to pay attention to and has benefits for humans, because many are taken for various purpose, both for pet food such as birds chirping, ornamental fish and lobsters and nowadays it is also used for cosmetics and for export commodities. There are several things that need to be considered in the cricket business, namely food, place, and temperature. The temperature in the cricket cage is very influential on the growth of crickets. A good temperature for crickets is 28 ° C to 33 ° C, if it exceeds or less than that temperature the cricket can be stunted and can be killed. To overcome this problem a system that can control the temperature is needed to stabilize between 28 ° C to 33 ° C. This study aims to be able to control the lights and automatic fans to control the temperature in order to help the MSME. This research uses the waterfall method. Data collection methods using the method of observation, interviews and literature study. The workings of this system are Arduino Uno get temperature data from the DHT11 sensor, Arduino sends temperature data to display to the LCD and Arduino will control the relay in accordance with the received temperature. The lamp will turn on automatically if the temperature is below 28 ° C and the fan will turn on if the temperature is above 33 ° C.
