Abstract
The process of presenting students conducted at SMK N 2 Banyumas is still carried out conventionally, in the sense that it is still done by calling one student at a time and then checking students who depart on the presence book or can also be said to be still manual. Problems that often arise when the presence process is done manual and uncomputered data, namely the possibility of manipulation of attendance data, lost or damaged presence book, difficulties in recapitulation of attendance data and too much stacking of presence data paper.
This research uses the waterfall method with data collection, observation, and literature study methods. The results of this study are students' attendance tools that are connected to the mysql database, these tools work to replace the manual presence system and replace it with an automated system, with rfid card readings that use an rfid reader, student data that do attendance will automatically enter the mysql database and will immediately send an SMS notification to the student's guardian's cellphone using the sim800L module.
