RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DASAR UNTUK SD KRISTEN BINA HARAPAN BERBASIS ANDROID

Language is an important communication tool among members of the community if there are problems in communication that will cause misinformation, trigger conflict, and stretch social relations. This problem also occurs in Bina Harapan Christian Elementary School, where students lack mastering of English vocabulary and writing. This was also conveyed by an English teacher who stated that students lacked mastery of English vocabulary and writing and based on observations also proved that students lacked mastery of English vocabulary and writing. The purpose of this research is to create an English learning application for Android Bina Harapan based on Android to help students learn in learning English because it requires a system that can help students learn English in terms of pronunciation and writing of English vocabulary. The system development method used is the waterfall method. The results of this study are basic English learning applications for Android-based Christian Bina Harapan elementary schools. The application in this study has passed the Alpha test conducted by the programmer so the results are following the function of the application, and beta testing is conducted by teachers and students of Christian Elementary School Bina Harapan. This test shows the application user strongly agrees with the application that was created to help students learn English from pronunciation and writing of English vocabulary.
