IMPLEMENTASI METODE TOPSIS PADA APLIKASI PENENTUAN JURUSAN DI SMA MA’ARIF NU 1 AJIBARANG BERBASIS WEBSITE

Vocational decision support system application is an application that develops with framework Codelgniter with TOPSIS Method implementation with study case in SMA MA’ARIF NU 1 Ajibarang. This application is made based on the obstacle that complained by the teacher that handle students Grade IX’s vocation because the decision-making system for student vocation choices still use Microsoft Excel as a media of data processing so that takes a long time to process furthermore it needs a high level of accuracy. That thing is very risky if the data calculation is bigger and more. The risk of false in vocational calculation process will affect the result of student’s majors. Other than that there are other things that often happens like often get the same result when data processing among one student with another student, many students want to move major because feel unsure about the vocation’s result. This application can give the alternative way to increase the vocation decision so that will simplify the student’s major. Moreover, this application has a feature that develops as appropriate as the system stages that are running in SMA MA’ARIF NU 1 Ajibarang. this application is an application based on website and database MySQL. The system develops a method that use is a waterfall.
