RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU BERBASIS WEB DENGAN FRAMEWORK YII DI SMP AL IRSYAD AL ISLAMIYYAH PURWOKERTO

The development of computer technology is currently growing more rapidly, there have been many manual systems that have turned into computerized systems, this is the background of the author to create a new student admission system that can be accessed by prospective students who are far outside the school location that accepts participants new students. Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Middle School Purwokerto is one of the leading private schools located in the city of Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency. This school holds student admissions every year, but there are obstacles if there are prospective students who come from outside the region and outside the island of Java. They must come directly only to register and deliver the requirements. While other times they have to come again to take the selection test for prospective students. Therefore a new student acceptance system was created with an additional menu of prospective students able to log in after obtaining a username and password that would be given by the school that held student admissions with applicable terms and conditions. Accounts that will be used by prospective students can see information about the registration of prospective student admissions, and added with the menu working on the selection test online in accordance with the specified date and time. The system is set forth in the thesis research report with the title "Designing a New Student Acceptance System with the YII Framework at Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Middle School in Purwokerto", using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model of developing or engineering information systems (software engineering). The hope is that this research can be beneficial for Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Middle School in Purwokerto, especially for the new student admission system. The final result of the design and construction of this system is the existence of a system that can facilitate the registration process so that the process of accepting new students becomes easier.
