IMPLEMENTASI PUSH NOTIFICATION FIREBASE PADA APLIKASI INFO KAJIAN PURWOKERTO BERBASIS ANDROID

Info Kajian Purwokerto (IKP) is an activist of Islamic da'wah which aims to prosper the mosque. Holding various Islamic reviews is a routine agenda held by IKP every week, every day can reach three to five reviews held. Besides providing clerics as speakers, they also prepare various supporting needs in a study such as helping, preparing media for delivering information. Submission of information about the study at this time is pamphlets, posters, whatsapp and instagram, but things that are felt still lack. Where when sharing the study info with the community using whatsapp made the smartphone hang and feel hot, because the IKP coordinator sent info to 35 IKP groups so that the IKP coordinator would do it every three days. While for the location map, the map still uses image form maps because whatsapp and Instagram cannot be used to share study info using digital maps using google maps. This makes it difficult for people who do not know the location of the study at all. The purpose of this study is to make an Android application that can be used to facilitate IKP staff in publishing study info for the community in the city of Purwokerto. And with the notification message on the user application that can make it easier for the public to understand the information on the schedule and location of the assessment held by the IKP. This study uses a system development method, while the collection of research data using interview techniques, observation and literature study obtained an Android-based IKP application solution that implements the firebase push notification feature. The results of the blackbox test on the IKP application show that all features are running well and in accordance with the author's expectations. Then seen from the questionnaire distributed to 30 communities and the IKP coordinator obtained a percentage of 90% and included in the questionnaire very well.
