SISTEM INFORMASI PPDB (PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU) ONLINE BERBASIS WEBSITE (Studi Kasus: SD Kecamatan Cilacap Utara)

New students (PPDB) is one of the processes in education such as schools that is useful for screening prospective students who are selected according to the criteria determined by the school to become their students. Based on the results of observations and interviews in 15 elementary schools in North Cilacap District, the process of accepting new students is still carried out offline, where parents of prospective students must go to school to fill out forms and submit registration files. The purpose of this research is to design and build a website-based online PPDB (New Student Admission) information system in order to simplify the process of registering prospective students. In the PPDB information development system (New Student Admission) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development method. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method has phases or stages such as requirements planning, RAD workshop design (RAD workshop design), and implementation (implementation). Results Based on this research, the researchers succeeded in designing and building an online-based PPDB (New Student Admission) information system, and from the results of system testing using the Black Box Testing method on the menu on the PPDB website that was built, it showed results as expected and the results of system testing using the User Acceptance Test on the admin dashboard page and user s (candidates / guardians of students) show that the system can be accepted by user s (prospective / guardians of students) and admin users
