Abstract

One of the most important computer technologies today and is closely related to spatial planning is 3D Modeling. With technological advances in the form of 3D modeling, this research will design a 3D modeling of the Mangku Tourism spatial layout using the Blender application using the low poly technique. Mangku Tourism has shortcomings and obstacles in conveying information about its tourist objects. It can be seen from the visualization media to explain the description of Mangku Tourism such as the buildings and facilities provided by Mangku Tourism are still very simple, only in the form of brochures, as well as information using social media in the form of Facebook and Instagram which are still very simple and only in the form of photos. Of course this has not fully been able to effectively inform about Mangku Tourism itself and its facilities. In making this 3D modeling using the 3D Pipeline Production Animation method, the process begins with determining ideas and themes, interviews in Rancamaya village, collecting data to designing storyboards. The next step is to process the modeling, texturing, animating camera, and lighting stages until it enters the rendering stage using the blender application, after that it becomes a cut scene from the rendering result into a video. After that, the process of editing and adding text and audio of musical instruments using Premiere Pro software. Then the last stage is the final rendering process which produces a video as a whole in the Premiere Pro application, then testing with alpha tests and beta tests is carried out to determine whether or not this 3D-based video is feasible to be used as an effective, interesting, and informative information medium. In the results of the feasibility test conducted, the percentage of feasibility was 89.5% with a questionnaire conducted by 26 respondents.
