ANALISIS GAMBAR HOAKS POLITIK PADA MEDIA SOSIAL FACEBOOK MENGGUNAKAN METODE EXTRACTION BIT-PLANE

In 2018 - 2022 there are a total of 202.2 million active Facebook users in Indonesia. Facebook is usually used to find information that is often discussed, one of which is in the political sector by displaying visual information in the form of images accompanied by Nara, but sometimes irresponsible persons misuse these images by manipulating such as adding/removing an object and changing the contents of Naration so that creating hoaxes or fake news. It was recorded that in the period September 2018 - November 2019 political hoaxes spread around 973 hoaxes out of 3901 total cases of hoaxes in all sectors. This is because people are lacking in searching for facts on the internet and it is difficult for their eyes to detect images that have been processed. Therefore, this study aims to detect 6 samples of original and acquired images and then compare them using the Bit-Plane Extraction method so that the results show that 5 images have been manipulated with an accuracy rate of 83%. the accuracy level of all the edge-detected images is superior to Prewitt and Roberts with a total of 3 images or 50% each, while Canny and Sobel with a total of 0 images or 0%.
