Abstract
A server is a service on a local or public-based network that has the function of receiving HTTP or HTTPS requests from clients and sending responses to these requests in the form of web pages. Local and public web servers must be able to handle requests and workloads that are greater than before. To be able to meet the demands of the development of web technology, load balancing technology is needed. Load balancing plays a role in dividing the load on services either on a set of servers or network devices. In this study, load balancing technology is applied by dividing the load based on the number of connections being served by a server. This study uses Nginx to evenly divide tasks assigned by users to server clusters. As a result, implementing a web server cluster with load balancing as a divider can speed up service tasks to users rather than using a single web server.
