Abstract
Learning media can stimulate students' thoughts, feelings, and willingness to encourage the creation of a teaching and learning process. Learning media is also a means to facilitate the teacher in conveying information from the teacher to students for the benefit of learning. According to the results of interviews conducted with the sixth grade teacher of SDN 2 Kutawis - Bukateja, information was obtained that there were obstacles faced by teachers in delivering natural science lessons that discussed the earth's revolution to the difficulties in giving a description of the earth's revolutionary process and its consequences. For that the author applies an augmented reality technology as a learning media due to the revolution of the earth in order to make it easier for teachers to give a picture of students how to process the earth's revolution and its consequences. The method used is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which consists of six stages. Namely the concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results of this study are applications of augmented reality learning media which are expected to help teachers in visualizing the revolution of the earth and the consequences of the revolution of the earth towards students. Based on beta testing tests conducted 88.88% answered strongly agree this shows the application of learning media due to the revolution of the earth using augmented reality can be accepted by students of class VI SD Negeri 2 Kutawis.
