SISTEM INFORMASI POINT OF SALES (POS) BERBASIS WEB (Studi Kasus: Toko Sakura)

Along with the development of technology, the presentation of accurate, fast and precise information is the main capital in facing competition. Sakura shop is one of the MSME businesses (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). During its business activities, Toko Sakura still does not have a system that supports the recording of inventory and financial reports. The recording of inventory and purchase transactions is done by manual recording in the general ledger. The solution that can be given by the author is by building a POS system, by implementing a POS system that aims and hopes to shorten the time for business owners to work such as storing the price of goods, recording sales and purchase transactions, and being able to produce complete financial reports. The point of sales system that will be built by the author is a web-based information system created using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language framework Code Igtniter, JS (JavaScript), JQuery, and Bootstrap CSS and uses a mySQL database. The method applied to develop the system in this research is the waterfall method. Based on the previous discussion, a website-based Point of Sales (POS) application has been built at the Sakura Store. The application has been proven by the results of Blackbox testing, the results show that the existing features run as expected. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the application is sufficient to answer the problems that have been expressed by the Sakura Store owner, which requires a system to record sales transactions, purchases and even sales returns.
