Abstract
Learning is a series of activities carried out by individuals to gain knowledge. One of the most learned knowledge in education system is natural science, which is the knowledgethat examines the regularities in the universe using the scientific method. Mathematics is a form of natural science. Mathematics is a discipline of thought and logic processing procedures, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of a study conducted in 65 countries in the world in 2012, said that the mathematical ability of students in Indonesia was ranked at the bottom with a score of 375. One way to grow students in learning mathematics is to introduce innovative learning methods in the form of games. how to use learning aids or commonly called interactive media. The purpose of this study is to design and build interactive media in the form of educational games in which there is no educational element about learning mathematics. Data collection in this study was done by means of documentation, observation, interviews and literature study. The development method used in this research is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). The expected results of this Android-based basic math adventure game using the Unity engine is to help improve children's understanding of mathematics.
