Abstract
In the introduction and promotion of salwa snacks, customers tend to have difficulty when they want to order because customers forget and don't remember. This study aims to create an introduction and promotion application by utilizing the development of android-based smartphone technology using augmented reality technology. The development method used to build this application is the Extreme Programming (XP) method. Unity 3D game engine software. This application applies vuforia as an SDK to create augmented reality that runs on the android OS and uses a virtual button located on the marker. This application provides information and displays video objects for salwa snacks, specifically for dry snacks, wet snacks, various drinks, buffets, tumpeng rice, frozen somay and sun soup. The selected research subjects are customers and consumers who want to order because customers forget and don't remember. This is determined to find out the difficulties faced by customers in the introduction and promotion of salwa snacks.
