IMPLEMENTASI PUSH NOTIFIKASI APLIKASI WEBSITE SEKOLAH SMK SWAGAYA 2 PURWOKERTO (Studi Kasus: SMK Swagaya 2 Purwokerto)

The development of information and communication technology, especially the internet, gave birth to a new medium, namely the website, which is increasingly developing and used in every field of life, both personally and institutionally. SMK Swagaya 2 is one of the private vocational high schools in the city of Purwokerto. SMK Swagaya 2 strives to provide services with the availability of information, one of which is information about news and announcements distributed through bulletin boards and websites. The media is not yet fully a solution for the creation of up to date and real time information.Therefore in this study a Website Application Push Notification Implementation was designed as a medium for news and announcements at SMK Swagaya 2 Purwokerto. This research produces a website application that can implement the push notification feature easily and can provide information in real time and up to date according to the benefits and objectives of the research. As evidenced by valid values in all test attributes and obtaining a 95% feasibility percentage with these results, it can be concluded that the application of the school website of SMK Swagaya 2 Purwokerto fulfills the purpose of being an effective and efficient information medium. The design of the push notification implementation website application was built using the Codeigniter Framework and using the Waterfall system development method. With the website-based information system at SMK Swagaya 2, it is expected to be able to provide more accurate information and to disseminate information more effectively and efficiently.
