The research information system and community service at STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto LPPM is a web-based system, which is used to manage and organize research and community service data that will and has been carried out by lecturers at STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto. At present the research data and community service are still managed manually using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word applications, and sending documents via e-mail (e-mail). Data recording can be done on many different files that can be stored in different places. This takes a long time when preparing research reports and community service by lecturers. In addition, it is necessary for the information from the STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto LPPM to be needed in the fast need and high level of information to support the development of the lecturer itself specifically to increase the relevance of the data. By presenting a research management and community service information system, LPPM STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto is web-based, it can conduct research management and community service carried out by STMIK AMIKOM Purwokerto's academic community. Researchers in collecting data use observation, interview, documentation, and literature studies techniques. The method for application development uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method.
