Abstract
Shooting is a sport of agility because this sport requires a high level of focus and accuracy. Currently, the calculation of scores in shooting sports is still using the manual method, so it requires officers and takes longer to calculate scores. The purpose of this research is to make an Automatic Score Counter for shooting sports which aims to classify shooting target images and shot trail images to calculate the total score obtained. Image processing carried out in this study uses the Matlab programming language to detect images on shooting targets. Compared to the manual/visual counting method that is still carried out by officers, the automatic score counter can calculate the results of the shot without using the power of the officer. This automatic score counter can be useful for shooting races using a 10m air rifle. In this study, the program is able to classify the image (grayscale, filtering, threshold) of the shooting target and the image of the shot trail to calculate the total score obtained. In testing this program the level of accuracy of the assessment in this program is 100%.
