Abstract

With the rapid development of technology at this time, especially in the field of studios, the need for space that is needed in different backgrounds according to needs also increases. Meanwhile, knowledge of the process and creation of sets with virtual techniques is still limited. In fact, by using the virtual set technique, it can make the studio look more lively and varied. The process of direct broadcasting through social media such as Youtube which takes place on the Ampu Studio channel, especially if an e-sport event is held, can be designed in such a way that it is pleasing to the eye. With these problems, the researchers made a 3D modeling design for the purposes of a virtual set of e-sports studios. With this design, it is hoped that the appearance of Ampu Studio's studio will be more lively and varied when displayed virtually. In making the design using the subdivision modeling method as a reference in making the required objects. In collecting data, the writer uses literature study, literature study, observation and interviews. At the manufacturing stage, the author uses Autodesk 3DS Max as the main software assisted by Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects. Testing the modeling design was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 63 respondents, and the number of Likert scales resulted in a value with an average index of 63 respondents of 92.08%. So it can be concluded that this modeling design is capable and successful in implementing dynamic, varied, flexible and minimal costs in Ampu Studio.
