IMPLEMENTASI KONSEP MODEL-VIEW-CONTROLLER (MVC) PADA PORTAL KARIR ALUMNI (Studi Kasus: Universitas Amikom Purwokerto)

Career centers and tracer studies at universities are very important parts to assist alumni in getting jobs. Therefore, universities have the responsibility to develop a career center system and tracer study. At Universitas Amikom Purwokerto the existing tracer study system still uses google forms and media for distributing job vacancies in the form of groups on the Telegram and Whatsapp applications often causing job vacancies information not to be maximally conveyed to alumni. This study aims to develop a career center application using the Laravel framework by implementing the model-view-controller (MVC) concept and being integrated with social media and email blasts to facilitate the distribution of job vacancies information to alumni. Researchers in data collection use interview techniques, documentation, and literature study. The system development method used is the SDLC (Sequential Development Life Cycle) method which includes several stages such as analysis, design, coding, and testing. The results of blackbox testing of the application show that almost all features are running well and according to the author's expectations. Therefore, it can be concluded that the career center application produced in this study is suitable for use by alumni at Universitas Amikom Purwokerto.
