Abstract
Swallow's nest has been used for hundreds of years as a dietary supplement in traditional Chinese medicine to treat malnutrition, strengthen the immune system and increase the body's metabolism. Swallow's nest contains high glycoprotein. The carbohydrate component in the transient nest consisted of 9% sialic acid, 7.2% galactosamine, 5.3% glucosamine, 16% galactose and 0.7% fucose. While the highest amino acid content - serine (4.56%), phenylalanine (4.4%) and aspartic acid (4.48%). There are several things that need to be considered in the Swallow's business, namely the place, and the temperature. Swallow's room temperature is very influential on the development of Swallows to produce maximum nests. A good temperature for swiftlets is 26°C to 28°C, if it exceeds or is less than that temperature, swallows can stunt their growth and can cause them to leave the building. To overcome this problem, a system that can control the temperature is needed so that it is stable between 26°C to 28°C. This study aims to design a system that can control the temperature to make it easier for farmers to cultivate swallow. This study uses the prototype method. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews and literature study. The way this system works is that Arduino Uno gets temperature data from the DHT11 sensor, Arduino sends temperature data to be displayed to the Dot Matrix and Arduino will control the relay according to the temperature received. Dinamo Pump will turn off automatically if the temperature is below 28°C and will turn on if the temperature is above 28°C. Data logger will receive all data for 24 working hours.
